Single Action Truss Rod

Single-Action Tension Design

We use single-action truss rods on all Macmull Custom Guitars. This means that the truss rod is tensioned inside the neck by turning it clockwise, but acts as a passive release when turned counterclockwise.

Enhanced Resonance & Flex

The result is enhanced neck resonance and a softer, more responsive feel when bending. The neck maintains an optimal range of motion when acted upon by string bending without altering the pitch.
