Inside the NEO Series
As part of our desire to explore new territories of sound, we are proud to introduce the Heartbreaker NEO, presented in three different configurations.
The NEO series retains the Macmull vintage sound and adds our latest discoveries, allowing us to think outside classic design boundaries.
The new body route with its shielding ground plate allows us to control component relationships even further than before, yielding a clearer electronic response and improved wood vibration.
Look inside the backplate and you’ll find a filtering metal board (specially formulated) allowing greater clarity and attack, especially crucial when using Humbuckers or P90s due to their wider sound range.
Ringless Cavity Design
Humbuckers are now inserted with a unique sound-enhancing technique. Attached directly to the body wood, they give the visual impression of a semi-hollow guitar. The bodies are not chambered, but feature specially designed pickup cavities that eliminate the need for standard 'service ears' or pickup rings.
This design looks exceptionally clean and contributes to the directness of the pickup sound.
Refined Layout & Pickguard
Innovation starts from within, and we design our guitars from the ground up. The NEO features a new design for the potentiometer/pickup switch layout and a gorgeous new pickguard that enhances the overall look and fits our trademark headstock.
